1968 vw Fastback

I bought the car a few years ago intending to restore it but other things have come up and I need room in the driveway. I have had several shoulder surgeries and can’t work on it. The car drive home then the 1600 blew, so I bought a 1776 100 cam crate motor from Century Distributors in Visalia. *the motor is not in the car* I have all of the parts from the old motor, it just needs to be reassembled. I sandblasted the engine tins and primed and painted them with heat resistant black paint. I sandblasted the back trunk above the engine and the engine cover and primed and painted the area. This is a dual carb set up and has almost new Weber carburetors. I also bought a new semi-performance exhaust system for the car. Has new distributor and coil. Car has some minor dents and dings, mostly back and front. Obviously needs new interior. Has new tires and beauty rings (rings still in boxes). I have the spare tire and the original wheels and tires as well. Car has clean title and was last tagged in 2020, so some fees are due as I didn’t put a non op on it, since I planned to get it running right away. Fees will be your responsibility so plan on a couple hundred or so in fees, which is why I lowered the price. Car has been continuously insured. I paid $6,600 for the car, the person was asking more. I paid $1800 for the motor I paid $250 for the exhaust I’ve spent about $500 on misc other repairs and parts. Brakes good, clutch good Car needs heater box/exhaust part as it was rusted Car has clean title and no liens. As far as I know I am the third owner. The man I bought it from has a shop and was going to fix it up for his son but his son wanted a pickup instead. Clean, cancer free fastbacks are few and far between, and are going up in value.
