this is camera good for photography (sports)?
This is a pretty old digital cameras. I’d recommend you to look at maybe some of the new rebels, the T7, or maybe even the lower end model of the R series. The person who is selling this is kind of pricing it based on the value of the body and the lens.
Revel t7 will suite you better. That's nice but I'd say age and type is good still but. Just my opinion
It depends on where you are in your photography journey. It's a good price to pick up a camera to learn the settings. It maybe old, but it has the basic features for you to learn the fundamentals. Just make sure the price includes the batteries and battery charger. Since it is an old camera, you will have to buy 3rd party accessories. In this case, I would just buy a whole new battery and charger just because of the age. So keep in mind if you do decide to purchase. Again, if you e never held a camera in your life and this is a new hobby, this is cheap enough for you to really try and learn. Photography is all about the person's skills. Not the gear.
You can create a masterpiece with an iPhone because the artist is behind the lens. The camera is just a tool.
