Might be a little unforgiving if just starting out but pretty much anything will work. You’ll be upgrading soon if you stick with it. I have a set of irons for sale as well.

Not for the beginning golfer. It was a great combo set in its time…and looks like it could still be now. I was tempted to pull the trigger on this set just to see if I could hit them (I’m a mid-handicap).

I think it’s a good deal! They’re great clubs even though they’re older. Agree with BHC, if you’re not a low to mid handicap you will have difficulty using them.

If you're just beginning that's a lot of money to spend on a set of clubs meant for an experienced, mid-low handicapper. Try picking up a short set or even a put together set, get a putter, pitching wedge, 8iron, 6iron, 21* wedge and 3 wood, something you can piece together for $50-60...and when you start to hit these consistent and we'll, then think about moving up.

Thanks all. Your inputs are super helpful

Great set of clubs, but the mid and long irons are hard to hit. Very unforgiving especially for beginners. Stay away unless u can shoot 80-82 or under.
