    All depends on how old it is. Most refrigerators last about 10 years, then die or need services like a Freon recharge. Whirlpool appears to be a reliable brand.

    Its an okay deal, I just got the same style kenmore for $100 and its 4 years old but what's most important is cleanliness and smell.. that free delivery really helps if you need it.. I love my new to me fridge by the way!
