  • Honda Gold wings little brother. Great motorcycle. Price fairly. I see police still using these bikes. That tells you something. I’ll buy it.

  • ITS A GOOD DEAL ESPECIALLY CAUSE ITS A HONDA BIKE WELL MAINTAINED THEY WILL OUTLAST YOU.. GOOD DEAL IM A 43 yrs INTO RIDING..

  • I have an 03 ST1300. It's a great bike. This one is 20 years old and you need to verify all of the 20 year old coolant rubber hoses have been replaced. This is a V4 layout and the coolant hoses in the valley of the engine are really difficult to get to. The fairing "Tupperware" has to all be removed and the gas tank and radiator removed to get to the coolant hoses in the valley. The ST1300 is prone to leaking coolant from these hoses in the valley. The radiator fan sending unit also goes bad so the bike will overheat when in traffic. The ST is a 300k mile bike if taken care of.

  • Make sure the brake fluid has been flushed and bled properly. The ST1300 has a linked braking system which is difficult but not impossible to flush and bleed properly. The rear brake lever actuates 2 wheel cylinders in the rear caliper and 1 wheel cylinder in each of the front calipers. The front brake lever actuates two wheel cylinders in each of the front calipers and 1 wheel cylinder in the rear calipers. It's a great system but it makes it more difficult to bleed. Also the right side fairing has to come off to get to the brake proportioning valve. You can YouTube how to bleed the brakes.

  • If the bike sits around a lot its not a huge negative. Mine sits a lot, months at a time, but it never lets me down. It's fuel-injected and always starts. The AGM battery can be pricey. I keep a battery trickle charger tender on mine.

  • Valve adjustments are every 16k miles. Need a shim kit to accomplish the valve adjustment. It's a big job. There are 4 camshafts that must be removed to get to the shims. The timing chain is also involved in the valve adjustment. You may be able to go more than 16k miles between valve adjustments but that is per the Honda manual recommendation.

  • I had a 2002 Kawasaki dropped many times from high winds besides some broken clutch pegs I kept it for a good while no issues just the rubber wearing out over time fork seals I'd replace all the fluids regardless just how I do things brake oil coolant erc
