That price is a little sketchy… but if u really want it, I would get it towed to a mechanic shop so they can check it out
Salvaged title is not a big deal, car needs a transmission, perfect for a mechanic.
Take a mechanic with you to look at it really good to check for another other problems and have another person go with you just incase its a scam.
As long as the car runs good with no mechanical problems etc, I think it is worth the money
Find out what type transmission it has in it then call ammco or any other transmission shop snd get a estimate on removal replacement or repair add that to your cost and if the price is rite buy it!!
A 5r55s transmission will run you about 3k and that's if you put it in yourself.. I wouldn't know about labor costs for that because I put mine in myself lol.
Asking $1,000 if it starts it’s worth it, a good mechanic will cost you half of that just to evaluate the car.
$1000 what exactly are you expecting it to be? If you're not willing to put money into it, not worth it.
