The S410s from Mackie is a high-quality, precision passive subwoofer designed for live applications. Designed and tuned by EAW, the S410s feature four 10" drivers. By using four smaller drivers, rather than a single 15" or 18" driver as found in most subwoofers, the overall surface area is increased, enabling the subwoofer to move more air and deliver a more impactful performance. An integrated low-pass filter eliminates the need for an external crossover when the subwoofer is used with a two-way loudspeaker. The cabinet is constructed from solid Baltic birch plywood and coated with a PVC vinyl paint for extreme durability. A steel grille protects the drivers from any accidental damage. Integrated handles in the sides of the cabinet provide easy transportation, and a pole mounting socket lets you mount a two-way loudspeaker on top of the subwoofer. Neutrik Speakon input and thru connectors let you connect easily to virtually any professional sound system. Note! This subwoofer is designed for floor use only. It should not be flown/suspended.
