Description

Bought a 1996 Subaru Legacy for Christmas. Made duplicate keys from the one original key. Ignition locked up when testing duplicate keys. Able to insert and remove all keys. Ignition stuck in LOCK position and steering antitheft lock enable (steering wheel locked in place). Tried a hundred times to pull steering to one side or other while turning ignition but unable to get it out of LOCK. Know how to replace ignition switch if could turn to ACCESSORY position but unable to. Maybe steering lock release not working. Maybe other antitheft feature that not aware of. Have original key, title, registration. Want ignition lock replaced and working normal. I can pick up new ignition switch with new key, but can’t release old switch. Will pay if you come and successfully r remove/repair/replace (without damage to other parts of steering). Can provide more photos and info.
