Propella 7S electric assist 36v lightweight city bike battery needs rebuild high quality bicycle local company The Propella company was a very well regarded and respected electric bike company in the Seattle region. Unfortunately, they went out of business due to some financial troubles, but it was not because they were building a bad product. Every review I've seen had great things to say about it. This is not a full electric throttle bike with heavy weight and more of a many motorcycle. Instead, this is for the bicycle enthusiast that wants a little bit of assist when needed. Lightweight so easy to handle, get upstairs etc, carry in conventional bicycle rack on car etc. I think the weight is about 37 lb. I don't know if that includes the battery which can be removed. As they claim, the frame size and geometry is such that it can fit a broad range of rider from short to tall with one size fits all. I'm not sure exactly how they do this but that is their claim. You're welcome to try it out and see how it fits. I do have the battery and charger, but unfortunately, it needs rebuild or replacement. It is possible to upgrade to a different shape of battery with replacement controller for even more range and availability. Or, there is a local guy I know who can rebuild it for $125, or there is a company in Florida that can do it professionally for about 380 shipped and rebuilt and warrantied etc. As I understand it, any of these bikes you buy are likely to have old batteries, 5-7 years old, that are not likely to last much longer, so buying the bike on the cheap and rebuilding or replacing the battery will be to your advantage. Or, you may have a battery already that will fit or can be modified. I bought it for $200 and I'm a little too busy to deal with it and don't really need it, but for someone that would like to have a great electric assist bike with a good battery in the end, it's a good price all in. Google reviews and you will see it's a good solid bike and also very attractive. Looks like an actual bicycle, but a cool one. Available in Northeast Seattle. Could possibly be delivered around Seattle for free or a reasonable charge.
