Cordless Bandsaw

28volt cordless Milwaukee full size bandsaw and two new blades. The saw has been a great heavy duty well built saw for many years and still is. The only reason I want to sell it is because Milwaukee discontinued the 28volt series years ago and my cordless 28volt batteries have all finally died on me and will no longer take a charge and I’ve also switched to the 20volt lith-ion series and if I’m gonna drop 100$ on a battery it’s gonna be for a 20volt since all my other tools are now 20volt. You will probably not find the 28volt batteries in stock at most f the main stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot or Walmart , however if you search online you will find there are many places selling both new and used or refurbished Milwaukee 28volt batteries still. There are also stores in many bigger cities that will refurbish batteries for a fee. I am selling this item as tool and case only and I’ve thrown in a couple new blades as well. If your interested in refurbishing a battery I will also include one battery free but be aware that the battery will need refurbished. It will not take a charge. The cells are no good anymore and will need replaced. But you would have the battery casing or shell and that’s what attaches to the drill and that’s what they would put the new cells in when the refurbish the battery. This bandsaw does work and it is a beast considering it’s cordless. I’ve used most band saws from most major brands and even the newer 20volt lith-ion versions of bandsaws can’t compete with this saw in terms of cutting width and depth but even more they don’t have near the nuts that this saw had . It is a beast , it’s taken abuse over the years and it can handle probably years of more with new batteries. The only features the newer Luther-ion bandsaws have that out class this saw are that this saw is much heavier and the continuous run life of the battery is longer on the new saws . But this thing will cut through any gauge or thickness steel in its cut zone where others will not
