Model 401A “Slant-O-Matic” with Wood Cabinet. When installed in cabinet, machine utilizes a knee pedal and when taken out of the cabinet, the machine uses its foot pedal. The tension knob on the front was turned repeatedly and I don't know it's proper setting and have not tried to correct this, as I am a total novice. This was my late mother's machine.
