This wheel is brand new never been used. I no longer have the original box so it’s just the wheel by itself that you’ll be getting but the wheel is in mint condition with no flaws. It’s been stored indoors at a smoke free home safely and has not been mounted or ridden ever. The wheel functions perfectly and honestly provides an exceptional performance for the price. It is equipped with suprisingly high end components such as a 6 pawl cassette hub made by GT and double walled rim made of T6 aluminum The rim is a GT “DBL” rim in black with a very clean minimal look to it.Mostly black all around with a small logo on the inside wall near the valve stem hole that reads “GTBIKES” and “DBL” in small white lettering. Very durable and rigid chambered double walled rim design will hold up excellent under impact and other types of abuse even for advanced riders. Uses a Male 14mm heat treated hollow chromoly axle, And a a LHD cassette hub equipped with a 9T driver and 6 pawls for maximum points of contacts giving this wheel a very responsive feel when pedaling forwards and seamlessly engages instantly without failing or skipping each time. Built to last. Great quality from top to bottom amazing deal for the low price. It is very unusual to find a budget aftermarket wheel with a 6 pawl hub for under 100$…you can’t get anything better than a 3 pawl hub typically on wheels of this price point which does not provide as high of a level of performance and doesn’t engage anywhere near as quickly or reliably as a 6 pawl cassette because it has less points of contact (pawls) to come into contact and catch onto the teeth. This is what makes the driver engage making you able to pedal forward. So a 6 pawl cassette will always be more reliable and instant when it comes to engagement and provide a noticeable better performance compared to a 3 pawl cassette. I have been building, trying, repairing, and restoring 20 inch bmx wheels for years now I’ve tried out hundreds of rim and hub combos so I kinda have an idea of what’s good and what’s not on the market and with my knowledge I can say hands down this wheel is worth every penny it’s absolutely incredible and suprised the heck out of me. Was not expecting it to be anything special when I bought it but once I got it and took it apart I was very impressed by the 6 pawl driver and other internals of the hub as well as the rim quality and overall look. Asking 60$. Semi firm on price. I paid the retail price of 80$ for it plus shipping so I feel it is a very fair price considering it’s still brand new.
