Excellent condition, 20,600 original, mostly highway, miles. Looks great, runs great, oil changed every season with Blue Dot synthetic oil, garage kept under cover, highway floorboards, and a throttle lock. Everything is original, the seat has new padding, I've driven my bike to Gatlinburg, Montana, upper Canada, Upper Michigan, Minnesota, Upstate New York, and many other mimi-trips. There's new tires and a new chain because they do stretch and can come apart, new front fork seals, it isn't perfect, the tank has some scratches on top. I would ride it to California tomorrow without hesitation. I had my mechanic go through the bike to make sure I wouldn't get stranded on a trip. He said it was like brand new inside. He cleaned the carbs, and that was it. Can no longer ride due to bad legs. If you want a real head-turner and a bike that will probably outlive you, then this is the bike. Do not let this slip through your fingers. Btw, it's a rocket! The GS1000's are hard to find, especially the "L" code bikes. It comes with saddlebags with rain covers, 4 helmets, cover, new extra seat, a fairing, which needs a little fix, a tank bag, and the original manual. Beautiful bike. I bought it from my buddy in 1991 and drove it everywhere.
