1997 Honda Civic

1997 Honda Civic Type R EK9 Legally Imported to the USA using the 25 year law and registered under the factory 10-Digit VIN. Clean Washington State Title in my name. I have a folder with the original import documents, maintenance, owners manual, etc! 227,000 Kilometers (Equivalent to 140,xxx Miles) Original B16B Motor w/ Matching LSD Transmission. Equipped w/ Power Steering & Air Conditioning. Runs and drives amazing! Zero smoke, ticks, etc. Gearbox also has zero grinds. Original Championship White Paint. In decent condition. No signs of any major accidents or repairs. Does have a few dents, dings, and scuffs. Majority of the damage is on the front bumper/lip that has been attempted to be touched up by the previous owner. I would recommend respraying the front bumper. Original and complete EK9 interior minus rear cargo cover. Overall pretty good condition considering it’s 27 years old! Trunk pan has some surface rust near the seam sealer that could be ground down and resprayed. By no means is this EK9 in perfect condition but it’s definitely a good base for someone that wants to do a resto-mod build or someone that just wants to hop in and go drive. I’ve been collecting new OEM parts with plans to undergo a full respray next year and give it a proper refresh but deep down I really want a DC2-R. So with that said, I’m looking to trade for a JDM DC2-R. Ideally a 98 Spec but I’d be open to a 96 spec if it’s the right one. Would love to see this EK9 go to a great home and continued to be restored to its original glory! Not really interested in selling outright but if I had to put a price on it, it would be in the $23,000 ballpark. Can lower the price if you bring your own wheels as well!
