This very cool platform style long sofa has everything that you want in a mid century modern piece! Stylish v-shaped natural form front legs give this piece the stance needed for that long low design famous by designers of the 50's and 60's like Pearsall. The solid one piece firm padded seat cushion gives you clean lines that match the arched backrest, all angled at the right pitch for comfort and style. The built-in end tables are at just the right height and width to continue the sleek foward design in this modern sofa. The back is also wrapped in the very cool tweed with tufted buttons. An awesome piece that not only is a great statement, it includes form and function in its large confortable seating area with space enough for entertaining several guests or room for lounging and relaxing. Condition - in well taken care of great condition. The frame is tight and supportive. The upholstery is two years old as well as the foam. The foam is supportive and firm, the upholstery has been cleaned. There is a small tear to the fabric on the back of sofa that faces the wall. Some small pieces of extra fabric will be provided. Comes with one matching Throw pillow! The veneer floating end table tops have been replaced with two solid walnut slabs. Some minor wear on each slab. Can be sanded down and re-stained to repair. The upholstery underlining fabric underneath the sofa is missing. My movers had to remove it the last I moved in order to remove the end tables. Comes from a smoke free home.
