Up for sale is an authentic, original vintage 1956 California motorcycle license plate measuring the standard 4" x 7" dimensions. It features a highly sought-after 1957 red-and-black validation renewal sticker. Perfect for vintage motorcycle collectors, chopper enthusiasts, or anyone restoring a period-correct 1957 Harley-Davidson, Indian, Triumph, or custom classic bike. Good condition. Features a beautiful, natural vintage patina with minor age-appropriate surface wear. There is some minor bending on top right and black paint wear on the numbers. Embossed numbers and "56" factory stamp are crisp and highly visible. Includes the original 1957 reflective red sticker firmly attached. Item priced based on comparables sold. Reasonable offers will be considered. Please see photos for more details and to assess the condition yourself. I am not the original owner, but I did call the DMV and was informed the license plate number is clear. I recommend buyers verify themselves with the DMV. Also, buyers should refer to California's Year of Manufacture (YOM) program for information to legally register this plate. For local pick up, this item is in North Huntington Beach (area code 92649). I can also meet along the 405 Freeway between North Huntington Beach and LAX on weekday afternoons.
