Description

Overview: Up for sale is an antique woodblock print by the famed Utagawa Hiroshige IV (b. 1855) titled "Hurrying Through the Rain," and depicts a woman ducking under an umbrella hurrying through a fierce rainstorm. Likely an early midcentury reprint. It is framed (appears to be adhered to the backing) and matted in a period frame with gold metal trim. Condition: Woodblock print and frame are in excellent condition. Wear consistent with age. Measurements: Print measures 14 inches high x 6 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 17.875 inches high x 10 inches wide.
