The bat was obtained by Carl “Dimag” DePhillipo and was a part of his personal collection. Carl devoted much of his life to collecting baseball memorabilia and assisting players at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Despite never being on the official payroll of the Cleveland Indians or Browns, he was a constant presence behind the scenes, running errands, managing equipment, and offering unwavering support.
