Guaranteed Authenic! This genuine Louisville Slugger 125 J99 Baseball Bat was Game Used by Julio Franco during the 1991 season. Franco was a 3 Time All-Star, 5 Time Silver Slugger Award Winner, and 1991 AL batting champion. He is best known for being the oldest regular position player in MLB history and the oldest player to hit a home run in Major League history, having hit his last home run on May 4, 2007 at 48 years and 254 days old. The bat was obtained by Carl “Dimag” DePhillipo and was a part of his personal collection. Carl devoted much of his life to collecting baseball memorabilia and assisting players at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Despite never being on the official payroll of the Cleveland Indians or Browns, he was a constant presence behind the scenes, running errands, managing equipment, and offering unwavering support.
