The Blackwater Gear I-O LB Vest is thier base system for custom tailoring a kit for any operator. All Blackwater Gear pieces work together with this vest system, allowing infinite configurability. A zip front plate carrier Two side panels A rear plate carrier. Zip front allows easy don and doff in high-risk situations or medical emergencies. Can be worn over soft body armor, Interceptor vests or over no body armor at all. Side panels can be independently added to fit any operator and to add mounting locations. Proven MOLLE/PAL systems cover the vest, assuring configurability and adjustability for every situation. Side straps and buckles allow easy width adjustment. Elastic stays secure loose strap ends, so they stay put. ITW Guilletex® buckles allow quick adjustments and modifications as loads or positions change. Also promote a low infrared signature. Shoulder D-rings allow attachment of carabiners and other equipment. Holds standard SAPI-style plates. Internal pocket allows for secondary weapon carry.
