Selling my beloved Suzuki DR650S. Motorcycle. Getting older, and starting to ride much mellower so want to get a vintage bike of some sort. This bike has been lovingly taken care of for many years. Oil/filter changes done every 2,500 miles (I kinda enjoy doing oil changes so did them more often than was truly needed). Kept in a garage always. I bought it from a bike mechanic in 2017 who had done a bunch of mods to it already. I had no idea how powerful the mods made the bike until I rode a stock DR650 a few years later. This bike is a whole other animal. And louder as well thx to the aftermarket FMF exhaust. Bike has been blacked out and I always get compliments on its look. Only negatives: Could prob use some adjusting of the pilot screw and idle. When cold, it can be a bit reluctant to start, but has never not started for me. Just needs a little coaxing. I’m not a mechanic and do it by ear, but have never set it with a machine. Possibly jets could use a little clean out? That said, it rides just fine and I wouldn’t hesitate to jump on it right now and drive across a few states. Bike never stranded me. If you’re reading this you probably already know these bikes are near indestructible if well maintained. I also have the original tank if you’d like it. I’m kinda sentimental, so not looking to squeeze every penny possible out of the bike.
