Description

SR-4A. Truly an audiophile unit. The Stasis receiver has the Nelson Pass power circuit, which was licensed to Nakamichi from Threshold Company. These units have an outstanding phono stage. Rated at 60wpc, it will easily drive most speakers with ease. These sold new back in the late 80’s for just under $1000. That’s equivalent to $2600 today. I have serviced, repaired and listened to this for hours to verify there are zero problems. The current voltage has been set, replaced the A/B speaker relays which are a common cause of channel cutting out after 30 plus years. All pots cleaned with contact cleaner, and then deoxit. There are some very minor scratches on the top of the unit, however for the age it shows very well.
