Description
Traveling Man Treasures is selling this amazing silver-plated relief sculpture of the Aztec moon goddess Coyolxauhqui. This high-quality relief plaque is manufactured by D'Argenta Internacional as part of their pre-Hispanic collection; a company known for handcrafted silver and gold-plated art pieces in Mexico. The relief depicts the Aztec goddess Coyolxauhqui (Goddess of the Moon), who in mythology was dismembered by her brother Huitzilopochtli, the god of the sun. The piece is made of a base material and finished with a thick layer of .925 silver plating, which is then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. DIMENSIONS: 10" H x 10.5" W Traveling Man Treasures Curiosity vault is a small vintage/antique/antiquity shop located in NE Portland focused on selling hard-to-find culturally & historically diverse items.
