Hello I texted the fine folks at desert private collection classics and inquired about a Porsche listed as clean title but car fax showed as totaled.. I wanted to know why they had car listed as clean title.
Well Dimitri Cala me and explained why car fax and he the dealer had this discrepancy .. and I said if he could show me clean title we could make a deal.. he did and I did! Only hiccup was Alaska DMV said title had typo and I had to fix in California first! I’m like oh Sh-t!!
I call Demitre and he said he of course would make it right.. but I should try other private DMV resource.. I did and that DMV office said titles can’t have letter “O” in them and my title had to have a zero no matter what clerk thought it was.. so long story short.. ish…
I have a clean Alaska title and I have my dream Porsche!
I would definitely purchase another high end car for this business again.
