Launched in 1999, the EV Global Motors eBike (EVG) was Lee Iacocca's pioneering, yet premature, venture into electric bikes. This bike features a 24v 20Ah Lithium LifFePT4 battery conversion, a 500w Heinzmann brushed motor, and a top speed of ~15 mph with a 20- 30mile range on battery power only. The Heinzman motor has great torque and smooth power transfer. Bright LED headlights, taillights, and brake lights. They were considered ahead of their time, featuring a robust, car-like design. Designed as a "one-size-fits-all" cruiser with a step-through frame, generally accommodating a wide range of rider heights, from approximately 5'2" to 6'3" comfortably. Very comfortable ride. Lithium battery conversion was done so you can easily convert back to standard lead acid batteries if desired anytime. But the lithium is far lighter, last longer, and more powerful. These lithium batteries support 2000 - 4000 charging cycles, lasting 10+ years. Brand new lithium batteries and new 24V charger included. Tires, seat, and all components are in excellent condition. Ready to cruise!!
