I purchased this clock a few years back from someone who claims the clock belonged to their mother (at the time would have been 80-90 in age) and it did work at one time. However, I set it up and never could figure out how to make it work. I’m sure a YouTube video would have helped me, but I had other priorities and hence it has simply been a stunning decoration in my hall. So, does it work? Allegedly, it did when I bought it. But I cannot guarantee that it works. Any damage? A few pieces at bottom got scuffed in move. The metal clock face needs to be reglued to the box. And if the clock doesn’t work then, yes someone would need to have a look at that. The gold features are wearing in spots from cleaning and dusting. See pictures. Unique features? The clock case is not broken or cracked and does not appear to have been repaired that I can see or tell, but it sits ever so slightly off kilter. Since I have not figured out how to work the clock, I cannot tell if that impacts the ability to work. Open to questions. Would like to have this gone in the next few weeks. Pickup in Long Beach, CA.
