We are downsizing and this piece of furniture was passed to me from family member so I don’t have all of the history of when it was purchased nor much about the model. I did my best to obtain some information below: Style and Features • The design of the chair, with its curved back and cut-out center splat, is reminiscent of Chinese Chippendale or Ming-style furniture, which Dixie and similar manufacturers sometimes produced for the American market. • The seat cushion with Asian motifs further suggests an Asian-inspired collection. The table set and chair are from Dixie M&S (Dixie Manufacturing & Sales), and the model/style number is 399. This set appears to be an Asian-inspired dining collection, likely produced in the mid-to-late 20th century. The “Lot No. AA0044” is not a model number but an inventory or auction reference. ———————————- Please note, it is in relatively good shape, but has normal wear and I’m one of the glass tabletops a small chip (as pictured). This has not caused my family any issues and if it wasn’t for the downsizing would continue to be a wonderful dining room table for my family for years to come.
