Beautiful set of 12 antique Norwegian chairs brought to the United States by my great-grandmother in the late 1800s. These chairs feature intricate hand-carved backs with traditional Scandinavian folk motifs and solid oak construction. The craftsmanship and carving details are remarkable and reflect the Nordic decorative style often seen in Norwegian furniture of the period. Features: • Solid oak construction • Detailed hand carving on crest and back splat • Original decorative motifs typical of Norwegian folk furniture • Black leather seats with decorative nailhead trim • Very sturdy and functional Condition: Good antique condition with normal wear consistent with age.
