A stunning monumental Gothic style mahogany bird palace on a matching stand. This quadrangular openwork structure features a peaked cruciform roof with a central domed cupola raised on a circular colonnade amid four slender minaret towers with one hinged door to each facade centering on an open gallery of spindle-turned columns. Framed in brown mahogany with wire filaments to the cage walls and floor; a base inset with a removable tray; and surmounting a matching, conforming mahogany stand with foliate carved, serpentine aprons; the four cylindrical supports joined by an X-form stretcher with a raising central slender spindle-turned finial. Measuring 27ʺW × 27ʺD × 73ʺH, this beauty is in great vintage condition. Suitable for parakeets, canaries and finches. Please review all photographs as an important part of the description.
