Description

A stunning monumental Gothic style mahogany bird palace on a matching stand. This quadrangular openwork structure features a peaked cruciform roof with a central domed cupola raised on a circular colonnade amid four slender minaret towers with one hinged door to each facade centering on an open gallery of spindle-turned columns. Framed in brown mahogany with wire filaments to the cage walls and floor; a base inset with a removable tray; and surmounting a matching, conforming mahogany stand with foliate carved, serpentine aprons; the four cylindrical supports joined by an X-form stretcher with a raising central slender spindle-turned finial. Measuring 27ʺW × 27ʺD × 73ʺH, this beauty is in great vintage condition. Suitable for parakeets, canaries and finches. Please review all photographs as an important part of the description. Located in Lakewood near Sheridan and Kentucky.
