Please read the entire listing. Car isn’t running and needs to be towed. Likely fuel pump failure. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab V8 5.7 Hemi. The truck is registered in Utah and has Utah plates with current tags. The truck was given to me by my father as a work truck around 3 months ago but I wasn’t able to put the truck into my name yet as it had a check engine light and i wanted to figure that out before I attempted a smog check. I have the title. It’s written in the title that’s it’s a gift to me from my father. I am not in front of the truck but I believe the mileage is somewhere around 250,000. And tags are good until October. The truck was and is a work truck. It was used on a ranch in Utah and then I used it for my electrical business. It has a camper shell. The AC and radio work great. The passenger door only locks and unlocks from inside the car. Power windows and power locks work. The body is pretty rough. It’s been used for work extensively. There are dents and scratches and gaps and all sort of things. The drivers door was bent backwards in a wind storm in Utah but was bent back to close and lock fine, however it’s clearly visible in the photos. I don’t have interior photos yet but it’s pretty dirty in there. Some cracking on the dash, and carpet issues. Chairs are also worn. Car WAS running fine besides a check engine light coming back as misfire on cylinder 8. Had 2 mechanics check it out and ruled out as much as they could and said it was a reliable daily driver. By dad drove it 1000 miles round trip to and from Utah every other week with no issues. I used the truck for 3 months almost daily and had no issues. Then a few days ago it turned off while I was driving. I was able to rull out starter, battery and alternator. I sprayed some starter fluid into the intake and it turned over for a few seconds. Had a mobile mechanic come out and he said he’s fairly positive it’s the fuel pump and that may have even been what was causing the check engine and misfire on cylinder 8. It’s a great work truck and if it’s only a fuel pump, this is a loss for me. Has the camper shell on it but I don’t have the key to pick it but it does close fine. Feel free to come by and check it out. Bring a mechanic if you’d like, but it’ll need to be towed as it doesn’t start. Located in studio city. One set of keys.
