Up for sale is a stunning late 19th-century Victorian porcelain mantel clock featuring an authentic Royal Bonn (Germany) hand-painted case and an Ansonia Clock Co. (New York, USA) 8-day mechanical movement. Key Features & Details: Maker/Marks: The ceramic case is stamped on the back with the red "Royal Bonn Germany" crown logo. The internal brass movement is stamped "Ansonia Clock Co. Patent June 14, 81". Design: Beautiful cobalt/powder blue molded porcelain trim with delicate hand-painted floral motifs (roses and yellow blossoms) and gold accent lines. Features a Rococo-style scrolling case with lion mask motifs on the lower front feet. Dial: Porcelain dial with Roman/Arabic numerals, delicate filigree center plate, and dual winding arbors. Back: Features its original hinged brass movement cover. Condition: Case: Excellent antique condition for its age. Glaze and artwork remain vibrant with light wear to the gold gilding consistent with age. No visible major cracks or large chips on the front body.
