System76 Darter Pro (darp6) 15” Linux Laptop

Next-to-newest System76 Darter Pro laptop (darp6) originally purchased in February 2020. I am the second owner, having purchased in August 2020, and having used it on and off since as a machine to learn Linux. Runs Pop!_OS 20.10 currently, with the i5-10210U processor (4-core, 8-thread up to 4.2 GHz) as well as 32 GB of DDR4 memory @ 2666 MHz and a 500 GB NVMe SSD. This is a fantastic laptop for anyone trying to learn Linux (Pop!_OS is a derivative of Ubuntu, which is a derivative of Debian) with enough RAM for virtual machines, even, or data science work (what I used it for) or whatever other general purpose. The I/O is also very good, featuring an Ethernet/RJ45 drop-jaw port which seems to be rare on laptops... the best feature, though, has got to be the firmware (System76’s own open source sauce) and BIOS replacement, Coreboot, including a neutralized Intel Management Engine. It’s in fine working condition, I’m just trying to downsize to just a desktop rather than desktop and laptop and Raspberry Pis and... 😁
