This item is a rather large at-home blackboard for leaving messages, for kids to draw pictures, practicing artwork, etc......so many uses. If I had to guess I would say it is two and a half feet across by 3 and 1/2 to 4 ft tall. But that is an approximate estimate, as I don't have anything to measure it with. This freshly painted only less than a week ago chalkboard is very very nice and it's painted solid black. It's just like brand new. The very same chalkboards sell new for anywhere from $100 to $149. One thing I do need to mention is that it stands up and will tilt up against any wall, but if you wanted to mount it, you will need to add a hanging package for the back as if you are hanging it you will need hardware to put it on a wall. A fabulous chalkboard that the whole family can enjoy!
