Description

About a year ago I was given a free craftsman riding mower. I personally have never built anything like this before but was determined to do it. I found a used 200cc dirtbike engine and built this thing around it. It’s not the best but it works and is a blast to drive. Along with people starring everywhere I went. I haven’t checked the top speed but I would imagine it to be around 50-60 mph.. I put the hood scoop on due to the height of the gas tank. It doesn’t look the best and I was going to have it done professionally just never got to it. Here’s what done to it: -Craftsman platinum mower -The whole frame has been RE-enforced to stiffen it up to prevent twisting -200cc Chinese special motor.. it starts up perfect. Reset the valve lash and now starts great every time - slotted brake disc with dirt bike brake caliper and rear brake master cylinder with reservoir- full hydraulic set-up.. work great!! - full custom steering set-up with over the motor steering instead of the standard bar stool type steering that came on the motor originally. - front steering is set-up with 10 degrees positive caster , 10 degrees of negative camber / 10 degree positive camber spindles, I was going to make adjustable eventually.. -40” from outside to outside of the front tires with 5/8” spindles ( from what I’ve read these are the standards for most mower racing classes) -6” Hoosier slicks front and rear, not sure on exact size but the rear are wider then the front -electric start -Uni air filter -full exhaust back with exhaust hangers and a motorcycle muffler I’m sure I’m forgetting something but I have endless amount of pics of the build that I can supply if that’s something you would want to see. I’m looking to trade for a Four wheeler. Preferably 4x4. Really that’s the only thing that would make me part ways with this.. a lot of time has gone in to this! I know it looks rusted but it just needs to be flap disked down and then filled in certain weld areas and paint....
