MTD makes most all lawn mowers. Other brands put their name on them like this one. Weed eater brand. I ordered a new safety control cable used to stop at start the lawn mower. I used the shorter cable to show that it runs in the video. I also ordered a new cable which arrives on Monday July 7th. If you are in a hurry, you could buy the cable locally. I ordered it from Amazon for $7.

Special thanks to "GTO Jim from Claycomo MO." Jim sent me a message about my listing saying just said the letters MTD. Thanks so much Jim for correcting the typo where I had listed it as MTV. I certainly realize that MTV is or was a music television channel and they sure don't make lawn mowers. I'm glad to have my ad corrected so everyone knows it is an MTD made lawn mower sold under the name weed eater. For sale is a 20-in cut basic push lawn mower that starts and runs well. I put a video but OfferUp doesn't allow it. I think I'm listening name I typed away too much. The safety zone control cable was broken and I swapped it out free one that I had which is a little too short. It allows the video to be made and photos to be taken for this listing. I knew, slightly longer cable arrives from Amazon tomorrow, Monday July the 7th. It snaps on in 30 seconds just so you know. I don't know who manufactured the cable.
