Vintage Topo Gigio Doll This original soft rubber Topo Gigio doll was mine from childhood. It is copyright 1963 by Maria Perego. Stands 11-1/2” tall. The head and both arms swivel 360°. Topo Gigio the Italian mouse became very famous after being featured many times on the Ed Sullivan TV show. The paint has chipped off in some areas, due to being played with by me, then my kids. There are some areas of discoloration on the skin. This was a loved, used doll. My meanhead older brother used to push in Topo Gigio’s nose. He’d also turn his head and arms 180° backwards for a lewd display that made me upset, though at the time I didn’t fully get it. Ah, the good old days! Cash pick-up locally in the west end of Hartford, CT. No credit cards, no debit cards, no checks. No trades of any kind.
