Description

Good condition 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior in sunburst. Original finish. Very little play wear on the top of the guitar. Some decent buckle rash and surface level scratching on the back as expected. Tuners have been replaced for Grovers. Behind the nut Kahler locking system installed with the matching Kahler bridge. Body has been routed to accommodate the floating bridge. Potentiometers, tone capacitor, and output jack are original. Original nut and frets as well. Pickup cavity has been routed for a humbucker and has been routed with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. New strap locks as well. The headstock has had a very old unusual headstock repair, but has been solid for a while. I actually really love how this specific humbucker sounds in this guitar, making this a much more affordable option to get into a real vintage 50’s Les Paul Junior. Super light and resonant. Neck is straight. Outside of the buckle rash, the body of this guitar is quite clean, with some play wear near the 5th feet. Comes with newer Gibson hard shell case. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
