It was a pleasure to work with their team to buy my used car. I worked with Zach in sales and with Eddie in financing to finalize the deal.

I'm not the type to buy without doing what I consider a good amount of due diligence. After the first test drive and driving home, my wife and I chatted about the vehicle's pros and cons, and I specifically recall pointing out how much I appreciated working with Zach. He was professional, not pushy, and very helpful. Zach and I exchanged several text messages as I had questions.

Eddie was patient with me as I consulted with two close friends that work in the car sales industry that were making sure I navigated the process correctly. Eddie helped find the right extended warranty to fit my expected yearly miles and how long I hold onto my vehicles. He did his job well and I didn't feel any sense of being in a battle. When I was almost finished signing everything I mentioned jokingly that they should give me a $50 discount as the car was now low on gas. Instead of chuckling with me, Eddie didn't hesitate to call his team and request that they filled it up for me.

Their vehicles are all very nice with a lot of high end options. When they choose cars to have on their lot they do their sales team a favor by choosing very nice cars to work with. Everyone there seemed to love their jobs and working together. I would and am recommend them to my Portland area friends that are shopping for a used vehicle.

Preston was lovely to work with, and was very accommodating. I was able to take the car to my mechanic before buying, which gave me peace of mind, and my mechanic told me the car is in great condition. I’ve been shopping for a car for several weeks, and I had done a lot of research, as well as test drives at various dealerships. Through Genuine Motor Co, I was able to get *exactly* what I was looking for, and the car was fairly priced compared to others I had looked at.

I appreciated that the buying process felt like a win-win collaboration, instead of the win-lose negotiation it had felt like at some other dealerships. It felt like they really wanted me to be happy with my purchase, and they were committed to selling a car they felt proud to sell.

Preston listened to my observations/concerns and had the shop look at the brakes and resurface the rotors. He also invited me to come back for a no-charge treatment on the interior to make it smell extra shiny and new, which I plan to do. (It had already been detailed and cleaned up, but it’s nice to have the extra treatment!)

I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to get add-ons, the process was pretty quick and painless, and all in all, it was about as good of a buying process as I could have hoped for.

My only quibble is that the dealership does charge a $499 fee for Zurich anti-theft protection, which they told me was required as part of their process, which I didn’t prefer, but it was the only extra fee, and I was ultimately willing to pay it, especially since the car was reasonably priced.

If I do run into any issues, I feel comfortable discussing it with the dealership. If, in the off chance I run into something big and unexpected, I will update my review, but for now, I feel confident that I have a reliable vehicle that I can expect to last me for a long time.

I would like to give a huge thanks to the team. Zach, Ryan and Kyle. You all did a great job. Great customer service,  with no pressure. The trade in process was very fair. I needed to downsize vehicles, I was in a negative equity situation. They really helped me out gave me an honest and fair deal. After having a bad experience before. Genuine motors truly lived up to their name. Price they gave was very competitive and fair. I got an amazing car fully loaded SQ5. Kyle got me a great warranty.  I’ve waited a week to leave a review and I’m very happy. I LOVE THE CAR. Kyle also referred me to two great insurance brokers. I highly recommend, I will be back! I’ve already referred my friends!

I want to give a big thank you to Zach for helping me out with my purchase. I was about 3 hours away from the dealership, and Zach had no problem with sending me videos and pictures of the truck to assure me that it would be worth the drive. He also did a great job on giving me the best deal possible. I’m more than satisfied with the overall experience.
