Overview: Up for sale is an absolute masterpiece oil painting by listed England/California artist, Harold James Cleworth (1935-). Cleworth was born in England and later moved to Venice Beach, California. He is known as the preeminent automotive artist in the world. His work has been featured in exhibitions in major cities, commissions from automakers throughout the world. His prints sell for many hundreds of dollars. This is an extremely rare original painting on canvas by Cleworth, depicting the Rolls-Royce emblem, The Spirit of Ecstasy. An absolutely stunning piece. Signed and dated '04 at lower right. It is framed in a solid and stately grey wood frame. This is an absolute must for any Rolls-Royce or car enthusiast. Condition: Painting is in very good condition. Two small paint flecks and two instances of a brush bristle painted over. Frame shows minor staining, but in very good condition. Measurements: Painting measures 28 inches high x 22 inches wide. Frame measures 34.75 inches high x 29.25 inches wide.
