Description

Offered here is a stately antique Regency Revival breakfront sideboard with hutch, likely dating to the early 20th century. Crafted from rich mahogany, this substantial piece features elegant paneled woodwork, finely turned ebonized supports, and four cabinet doors with distinctive diamond-pattern wire mesh grilles—an element frequently found in Edwardian and Georgian-inspired furniture. The upper hutch features two fixed display shelves framed by slim ebonized columns, perfect for glassware, china, or collectibles. The lower cabinet offers generous enclosed storage behind four doors, blending function with refined design. This piece is an exceptional example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, exuding British Colonial or Regency Revival elegance. Measurements: • 78” wide • 58” high • 20” deep Condition: Excellent vintage condition with very minor wear consistent with age. Doors and hinges function well. No visible maker’s mark, but the construction and detailing suggest a high-quality cabinetmaker, likely American or British, circa 1900–1930. It may be signed, I have not checked the back. A commanding and timeless piece—ideal for dining rooms, libraries, or any space in need of classic character and sophisticated storage.
