Description
Vintage Eastman Kodak Glass Plate Negatives (Large Format, ca. 1930s–1950s) – Industrial & Portrait Subjects – Lot of 2 with Original Box ⸻ Description: Pair of original Eastman Kodak glass plate negatives, produced in Rochester, New York, by the Eastman Kodak Company. These large-format glass negatives date from the 1930s to 1950s and were once part of a set labeled “7 pcs” on the original Kodak box — only two plates remain. Subjects include: • A detailed industrial mechanical device (possibly a motorized winch or spool system) • A vintage female portrait with soft studio lighting and patterned dress Each glass plate produces exceptionally sharp black-and-white images when inverted digitally. They are preserved in the original Kodak “Eastman Plates” box, marked “Negatives – Don’s Mechanical Instruments.” These pieces are ideal for display, restoration, or photographic history collections, showcasing early 20th-century professional imaging technology.
