Description

Selling my 1990’s Yamaha Motif 6. If you know what this is then it needs no introduction. The Motif is a classic, and this one is a vintage workhorse that has been my go-to keyboard for studio work. It has all the standard features, like stereo outputs, MIDI in/out/thru, and programmable inputs. Also has some really high end features for the time, like touch sensitive keys, after-touch, and multi-parameter configurable onboard effects to create your own sounds. On-board Multi-track recording. This thing is basically a self-contained recording station if you want to use it as it was intended. Most people just use it as a keyboard… The wood-grain end caps are created using an adhesive pattern film, not real wood. The onboard RAM is maxed out, includes a flash RAM card too, but no addtl plug-in boards are installed. This keyboard has the standard spring feedback keys, NOT weighted or semi-weighted type, so it is easy on the fingers for long sessions. There are 4 or 5 keys in the extreme upper register (last keys at the right side of the keyboard) that are not working. This hasn’t affected my use much since I rarely need to play those keys specifically. The asking price accounts for this issue. This has been one of my favorite keyboards ever, but it doesn’t get much use anymore since I don’t do much studio work and have other keyboards better for gigging. I have a heavy duty rolling Gator road-case for it that is for sale in another listing.
