Description
Price is OBO within reason. They sold for 1300 each in 2002 and have since been regularly selling for over two thousand each since there was limited numbers. These stools were never ever used as a chair. Also no intrested in trades of any kind unless u have solid gold or silver bars. Other then that cash upon pickup. These things are beautiful with such a deep finish. Pics do not do justice. Anyone familiar with Thomasville Furniture knows the quality of these items. Thomasville's "Pilar Fighting Chair," which comes with an adjustable footrest (not to mention a gimbal, to stabilize a gyroscope, fishing rod -- or a rum-based mojito, a Hemingway favorite), is being marketed as a bar stool (42 inches]. And since they're so rare and sought after I would prefer them to go to someone that will appreciate them. Hemingway used the chair while chasing down and fighting marlin off Cuba on board the Pilar, a 38-foot Wheeler Playmate painted "pirate black." The...
