This is a beautiful Vintage Anchor Hocking Wexford Clear Pressed Glass Pedestal Bowl, also commonly referred to as a Footed Center Fruit Bowl or Serving Bowl. This elegant glassware pattern, "Wexford," was produced by Anchor Hocking from 1967 until 1998. Dimenstions: 5 1/2" tall and 10" wide. Excellent Condition. Key features of this bowl include: Diamond Pattern: The lower half features a classic diamond pattern, while the upper half has a smaller, more compact diamond pattern with a clear banded top rim. Scalloped Edge: The rim of the bowl has a distinctive scalloped edge. Pedestal Base: It rests on a footed pedestal, making it suitable for serving or as a centerpiece. Material: Made of clear pressed glass, known for its brilliance and weight. Uses: Great for family dinners to serve green salads, fruit bowls, or other cold salads like potato salad, Waldorf apple salad etc... This one is from my sister-in-law's estate. She gave me one just like it and I love it for family get togethers! Large bowl holds a lot of salad! Would make a great wedding gift, birthday, or Christmas gift also.
