CLEAN SWEEP CANDY CRANE BY SMART IND. (Claw Machine from early 90’s) Purchased from an auction over 5 years ago. Took almost a year to get it back in workin condition. Had to find both a used mother and sound boards. Currently all functions are operational EXCEPT the prize sensor at the door. This means the machine is practically in free mode. I would not recommend this machine to be placed on a route because of said reason. Instead I’d recommend this for a man cave, or at home use. My goals for this machine were to tear it down and refurbish it but unfortunately I just haven’t had the time to get to it. Candy shown in machine will be removed. But I will supply the empty eggs and plastic toys. The cabinet itself has obvious signs of use from a location. The bumper trim is coming off, there’s dings and cuts in the wood. The acrylic on the sides have been replaced. The marquee has a bubble in it. ($50-$100 on eBay) All locks are working with sets of keys. Claw is fully functional even with strength adjustments. Like I said before, the prize sensor isn’t functional, which means the game will loop into free mode. This machine would be perfect for parties, Halloween, family gatherings, conversation piece, or even for grandparents trying to reclaim their title. I may be able to assist with delivery in Las Vegas only, but will need to be coordinated. The History: Smart Industries is a privately owned manufacturer of coin operated amusement games. Founded by Gordon Smart, as CEO, and his son, Jeff Smart, as president. In 1963 Smart Industries started as a traveling amusement operating company, which consisted of 500 games and a 200 piece traveling arcade. Then they expanded into permanent arcades in amusement parks throughout the Midwest, including Adventureland Park. In 1985 Smart Industries began developing and manufacturing their own crane games.
