This is a 1900’s Coles “Hot blast” barrel wood stove, Originally sold in department stores over 100 years ago for a whopping $12 (see newspaper, last picture) and was manufactured in Chicago Illinois. If you’re looking for an beautiful but function piece of American history for your tiny house or cabin, this stove is for you. This stove heats quickly with as little as two pieces of wood, and was widely popular back in the day because of its efficiency.
