Classic farmhouse ironstone by Hall China Co. Impressed HALL mark on the base. The large bail-handled slop jar from a washstand set features a fluted collar, raised scrolls, and the original wire handle with turned wooden grip. Lovely glossy white glaze—great decorator piece or extra-large planter/utensil crock. Size: ~9–9½" tall x ~9½" top diameter Maker/Mark: Hall China Co., East Liverpool, Ohio — impressed HALL Condition: Clean and stable with normal age speckling and light surface wear; rust staining at the handle holes; small chip on the foot ring (shown). Handle secure.
