Description
ABOUT: Hello! I’m unfortunately looking to sell my six foot agave surfboard. This is an incredibly unique board; agave boards are rare and expensive due to the very limited materials and costly methods to make them. I want to keep this surfboard even just as a pice of art in my place but I’m trying to downsize and just can’t justify keeping it :( INFO: The board’s name is Jason, he’s 6’1.5” long, a solid 20” wide, and about 2.5” in thickness. This comes out to be about 33-35 liters in volume - you can check the 9th picture to see how that fits for your weight and surf skill :) NOTABLE POINTS: - Last time I went out I got a split in the nose; very easy solarez resin fix, I just haven’t got around to it. - Patch job on the tail. The dude I got the board from had patched the tail but the day that the nose split, I also noticed the tail patch-job needed to be redone. Again, just the same solarez fix - or a board ‘patch’ if you’d rather do that - This IS a rideable board, I added a couple pictures of me riding it, but it’s also an awesome staple art piece. I’ve never had people compliment something in my house more, and I’ve never had as many compliments or people checking it out while I’m at the beach - This is an agave surfboard which is rare and expensive, but it’s also very sustainable and environmentally friendly - which I love! I’m also a huge fan of buying used boards to reduce negative environmental impacts with mass production, shipping, etc. (Also because of the lower price ahah). So this board is rare and expensive, but it’s also not brand new and has two solarez fixes. Because of these points, I’m looking to sell this board for $950. I of course encourage your own research for agave boards, this is genuinely a one of a kind board, but even if you don’t want to buy it, just learning about agave boards in general is very interesting :) Please contact me with any questions, offers, or info! I sell by first-come first-serve so I’ll hold the board for you unless someone offers full price.
