Description
58cm frameset. Seat tube measures 58 C-T, very tip point on front of seat lug—BB shell stamped 58. 56.5cm top tube-C-C. My investigations date it as ‘86 model based on Miyata catalog which is online. Serial # dated ‘85-production yr. Splined triple butted tubing. Shimano dropouts. 26.8 seat tube. Frame has usual wear marks, no deep gouges or dents. Good condition overall. I normally ride 58-60 frames but I found this is quite a low 58, presumably a Japanese sizing style IDK? Anyway, by sizing I would probably fit a 60 much better. Cranks-170mm 7400 DA. Brakes also 7400 DA. Hubs are 7 speed Shimano 600–it’s a Uniglide freehub body, not freewheel. $300. I would consider trading for a Univega or Miyata, 58 or 60, touring frame with canti brakes—has to be triple butted tubes & CrMo stays & forks. Same=Same. Thanks
