It is assembled and works well. The rack is RV rated to handle the extra movement from our trailer, but we decided because of the amount of travel time and off road traveling that we do, we needed to purchase one that was specifically designed for heavy off-road use. The only thing not included in this rack are the small rubber sleeves on the wheel straps, which many racks don’t have anyway. Everything functions as it should. There is also a hitch clamp stabilizer and two keys for the locking bars.
