This set is from Germany . It was in an old house to be renovated . The sellers said this had been in the house 95+ yrs & left many other unwanted items behind . . so , I shipped this over with other items from the old house . This is one of them . This would look very nice in an office on a big grand desk , includes : The main piece with inkwells & long well for pens . Mail holder Ink dobber 2 dip pens Ink pad & old empty bottle of ink Ashtray that had been used long ago it does not smell . I do not know what the white circles are on the main piece , maybe from the man’s cigarettes ? Or something dripped ? Otherwise , this is very old , very used & a very nice set to have . It’s seen some history from the town it resided & I’m sure some big decisions were made in front of this , while Wilhelm was smoking a cigarette . $1000.00
